FRIDAY COCKTAIL - MARCH MADNESS BEER FASHIONED!

When your bracket is getting you down try one of these to kill the pain!  No I didn't win the Billion either.  Hopefully gonna retain my final four!

Ingredients:

1 oz bourbon
2 oz wheat ale
2-3 dashes bitter
1 tsp brown sugar
orange twist

In a rocks glass, add sugar and bitters.  Add the bourbon and muddle until the sugar dissolves.  Put one ice cube in the glass and add the beer.  Add more ice and squeeze the orange twist over the drink and around the rim.  Delicious!

FRIDAY COCKTAIL - EVERYBODY'S IRISH!

HAPPY SAINT PADDY'S!

I am not sold on the olive garnish but otherwise great drink

Ingredients:

2 oz Irish Whiskey
1 Tbl Green Crème de Menthe
1 Tbl Green Chartreuse
Cocktail olive for garnish

Mix all ingredients in a shaker with ice.  Strain into martini glass and garnish - or not.  I think a green mint candy of some kind might be a good substitute!
